Sharing My Blessings with Others

In 2024, we participated in a community baby shower rooted in love, healing, giving back and honoring Nyani J. Thomas.

As part of this moment, we chose to donate all Nyani’s supplies and gifts to young pregnant students at Rich Township High School District 227. 

❋ This experience was deeply personal.

It reflected our journey of turning pain into purpose and ensuring that other young mothers felt supported, seen, and cared for during one of the most important seasons of their lives.

❋ What began as our own story became more.

This shared moment of encouragement for students who are balancing education, motherhood, and uncertainty about what comes next. It was an honor to be able to pour into them with essentials, love, and community support.

❋ As someone who experienced the loss.

We understood how meaningful it would be for these students to have a strong and supported start with essential items they need for their babies. It was our hope that what we could no longer use for our own journey could still bring comfort and stability to others.
